Our Story

Founded in 1985, El Rey Enterprises has been serving authentic Mexican cuisine to the Los Angeles community for over 40 years. What started as a small family-owned taqueria has grown into a beloved institution known for its commitment to traditional recipes and warm hospitality.

Our founder, Miguel Ramirez, brought his grandmother's recipes from Oaxaca, Mexico, creating a menu that celebrates the rich culinary heritage of his homeland. Today, we continue to honor those traditions while embracing innovation in our kitchens.
